How to Draw Cars
Saturday9am-Noon$206 weeks/$95Joe JacksonStudents will learn basic drawing techniques applied to the subject of cars. We will explore basic proportions, perspective, line quality, light & shadow, reflection & color, and composition. We will use colored pencils and bond paper. You will learn how to draw cool cars and trucks as it applies to automotive design by creating loose sketches for ideas and tight drawings for renderings.

Warming up to Watercolor

Friday7-9pm$155 weeks/$60Katie SimmonsWatercolor isn’t so bad once you get to know it! Participants will learn fun watercolor techniques to apply to a variety of subject matter. Class instruction will focus on color mixing and techniques for controlling the medium. We have all the paints and tools, all you have to do is dress for a mess.

Wild Clay Taming (Ceramics 101)

Thursday6-8pm$205 weeks/$75Katie SimmonsParticipants will learn techniques to make clay do their bidding. Class instruction will focus on building functional ceramic pieces using pinch, coil, and slab hand-building methods. A selection of glaze is available in the studio for students to use, and all work will be fired in-house for students to take home and enjoy. While you are welcome to bring your own tools, there are plenty to choose from in the studio. Please dress for a mess.

Yoga @ the Max

Monday5:30-7:30$56 weeks/$25Lynda HermanFind strength, flexibility and a “Quiet-Tude.” Yoga moves with breath and mindfulness. Bring a yoga “sticky” mat, a small pillow or blanket, an open mind and an open heart.

One-Day Workshop:

An all inclusive class that allows you to learn a new technique or process, make a cool project, and take it home the same day!

 

Drop-In Classes:

The simplicity of pay-as-you-go allows you to enjoy your class when you have time.  Classes are structured to meet you where you are.  Come as you are, when you can!

 

Multi-Week Course Sessions:

Get a working knowledge of a discipline through a more in-depth course.  Make multiple projects and learn problem-solving skills.  Sequential courses are designed to build on each other so you can continue to increase your knowledge and improve your skills.
